The Senior Developer/Database Administrator will be involved with the architecture, design, development and support of state of art applications/systems to support our client’s business processes. 

Throughout the systems development life cycle, the accepted project methodology will be followed to assure all user requirements are fulfilled. 

−        Systems analysis and programming will be performed in the Microsoft .NET environment using both C# and ASP.NET languages against Oracle and SQL Server databases.

−        Support and administration of Oracle and SQL Server databases will be performed.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

·         Analyze software/architecture alternatives to provide the most effective solutions.

·         Design reusable components that can be leveraged across multiple applications (SOA).

·         Use development skills to improve interface between departmental software applications.

·         Demonstrate ability to follow the accepted project methodology.

·         Analyze, design, document, test and implement software solutions.

·         Demonstrate knowledge of advancements in information systems technology.

·         Evaluate current and future needs for software and makes recommendations for continuous improvement of systems architecture.

·         Serve as a mentoring resource for less experienced developers.

·         Develop and demonstrate a thorough knowledge of the company’s business operations.

·         Develop an understanding of the FileNet data warehouse (SQL Server) for support and enhancement.

·         Demonstrated ability for continuous self improvement through ongoing education and learning.

·         Demonstrate an ability to work in a collaborative team environment.

Education & Experience Required:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Business with an emphasis on Computer Systems or Equivalent combination of education and experience. 
• Microsoft Certifications are preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of information systems experience in multi-platform environments.
• Senior level experience, 3 years minimum, in C# / ASP.NET, PLSQL and XML/XSL development required. 
• Minimum of 2 years experience as an Oracle or SQL database administrator highly preferred.
• Working knowledge of Windows Visual Studio.
• Experience with IIS and Active Directory preferred.
• Knowledge of n-tier application development required.
• Advanced verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to work independently, prioritize projects and meet deadlines.
•  Systems Architecture experience is a plus.
• Experience with FileNet a plus.
